for those of you that love plays and musicals you must go see billy elliot. i saw it yesterday with my mom, aunt, and two cousins. it was AMAZING! now, for those of you who hate all that singing and dancing, you must go see the movie billy elliot if you haven't already. the movie and musical are two different pieces that convey the same message: stay true to yourself and do what you love no matter who is looking. the movie and play are very different and both are extremely good. that's why i think they are so good, the musical didn't try to replicate the movie word for word and i think that really made the difference. go see the musical! go see the movie! they are great and very inspiring!

give me more softball

well if you haven't gotten enough softball talk from my blog, you can more softball on tv. the division I softball championship is being played on tv right now. you can watch arizona state, michigan, alabama, and many other schools battle for the world championship. it's so much fun to watch on tv. these girls are good. anyways that's my plug for women's softball (check your local listings, espn is even playing some games!)

back to work

while i want it to be summer and to just sit by the pool all day, unfortunately, summer also means working. this weekend was a great start, though, to my summer vacation. the sun actually came out and my sister elizabeth came with mike. saturday we all hung out and went to my dad's gig at night. it was packed house. we had ice cream, and dad sounded great. good night all around. sunday we went out to breakfast and then my mom, sister, and i went for manis and pedis which is always fun. followed that up by some lunch and then elizabeth and mike left for home. monday however, means back to work. i've already started to baby sit and that will continue through the week. so while i'd like to just be hanging out, it good to be making money.....more money equals more spending money for australia!

SUMMER!!!!!!

SOPHOMORE YEAR IS FINALLY OVER!!!!! after three exams and three final papers, i have completed my course work for my sophomore year. can you believe it? because i can't believe that i'm half way done with college that's insane!

this semester was a little rough, but overall, i think it just helped me to grow more. however, i am SOOO excited to go home tm. tonight i will spend celebrating with any of my friends who are done and still around. yay!!! it feels so good that summer is here....and australia is on the horizon!!!! crazy!!!!

i am in full summer mode now!!!!
