SNOWDAY!

snowday today!!!! for the first time in a VERY long time the school was closed today due to snow. this doesn't happen often because the school is so small and it's so easy just to walk everywhere. today i got to sleep in and didn't have to worry about much. it was a great way to start the week! it reminds me of all the snowdays in high school....

trinity days

this weekend we had off from classes on thursday and friday. most people go home so campus was dead except for athletes. it was nice to catch up on some sleep and to just hang out with some of the girls. practices went well, we even got outside one of the days. on saturday my parents came to visit which was awesome! i miss them a lot at school. they picked me up and we went shopping for my birthday and then to margie and jeff's house for dinner. the food was AMAZING as usual, so much better than campus food. we saw their granddaughter sophia who is quite adorable. i slept there and we had anything fabulous meal in the morning. it was a great way to end the weekend. very nice indeed.

dr. hammer, corporate tool

have you ever seen dr. horrible's sing-along blog? pretty funny. i think my sister elizabeth has actually blogged about it before. i actually had only ever heard of it and not seen it. but then yesterday my roommate said that a senior here directed a play of it. so i was like yeah sure i'll go. it was excellent. very funny. it's the first time that dr. horrible has ever been made into a play. pretty cool. i would definitely recommend for people to watch it online, you just have to google dr. horrible and it'll come up. i would probably recommend everyone to see this play but right now it's only playing exclusively on campus for this weekend only, soooooo if you happen to be in the area let me know! hehe. 

movies to watch for. get it?

now that i've found the site watchtvsitcoms.com, i'm hooked. you can watch movies on it too (but before i go any farther i want to let you know that the site only lets you watch 72 minutes at a time and then you have to take around an hour break. kind of makes watching movies a hassle but oh well i guess). so recently have i have just watched nick and nora's infinite playlist. omg loved it! so cute and funny and just really good. also forgetting sarah marshall. definitely a good watch. very funny and i really like the main guy, he's from how i met your mother but i don't know his name and also jackie from that 70's show. good movie. and i just finished p.s. i love you. if you cry during movies watch out. i never cry at movies and this made me tear up on multiple occasions. sooooooo good. i love chick flicks. but if you haven't seen them i would recommend them for my fellow chick flick lovers. but don't worry mom i'm still getting all my homework done!

softball season has officially started. yesterday we had testing which included a timed mile, times sprints, and push ups. today was our first practice. 3 hours of throwing, catching, fielding, hitting, and running. i'm very tired and will most likely be very sore tomorrow morning. definitely going to be doing a lot of stretching. i'm very excited about this upcoming season. the team should be very good. from now on it's 6 days a week until spring break when we go to florida and then we're in full swing into games. can't wait! go bants!

i have just recently finished watching the first five episodes of the new tv series united states of tara. i really like the cast. the show is a about a family where the mother is living with multiple personalities. the show is alright, not great, although i did continue to watch it, so don't know what that means. i think that i would recommend it to others to watch. it's pretty clever and funny. i believe it's on at 10 on sundays on showtime. man i sound like a blogging advertisement. but anyways if you catch it let me know what you think.
