alright so on top of our pitching and batting lessons, i finally found a consistent job for the whole summer. i'm baby sitting again. but there's a little twist. the child that i'm baby sitting is only 7 months old. yup, you got it. an infant. around the same age as baby lucy. his name is harry and he's ADORAB LE. he's just so happy. today i went over for a little meet and greet at the house. i learned where all of his toys and diapers were. what to feed him with and all his favorite tv shows. again, this is me we're talking here so not that much experience but i've been asking my mom questions non-stop. since i start next tuesday i have to pack in all the questions. hopefully everything runs smooth. if you have any tips (hint hint maybe the parents of baby lucy hehe) they are ALWAYS welcome!

Sounds like great experience and a refreshing way to spend the summer. Nothing better than the laugh of a little babe to make your heart sing! You will be great. Just remember, babies are sensitive to your energy. The more relaxed and secure you feel, the more they will tend to be calm and feel safe. Love is the most important thing to remember. Babies learn from watching you so give him some stimulation. Talk to him, give him eye contact, laugh with him, make funny sounds. Have fun!!!

Michele is right. Just be happy and fun and act like a kid yourself. Most likely no one else will know! I act like a lunatic when I'm with Lucy and she loves it!!
